The International Christian Montessori Institute (ICMI) is offering a 40 hour course on “The Great Lessons” from a Biblical Foundation. Here the Bible is the basis for the impressions being shared with students during the foundational presentations that are the core of the Elementary curriculum. If impressions are as vital to the development of a child’s imagination, intellect and will as Dr. Montessori teaches, then it is equally vital that those impressions be based on what God tells us in His Word.
Psalm 127 reminds us that “unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” Come join us as we seek to follow the Lord’s plan for the education of His children.

"Christian and Montessori. Montessori and Christian. Twenty years ago I did not know that two words went together. After ten years of classroom teaching, and a strengthening walk with Jesus, He opened the doors to seeing how Christian and Montessori belong together. Christian Montessori Fellowship (CMF) provided the place to bring the two together in practice. Through conferences I was able to meet like minded educators who love the LORD and are passionate about helping children grow in wisdom and stature and favor with God and men.Â
Through the ongoing work of what is now ICMI, I not only learned from others, prayed with and for others, but also had a platform to put to use and refine gifts and talents God gave me, and let them be used for His good purposes. ICMI has helped me to better live out the calling of the Shema; to love the LORD with all my heart, soul, mind and strength".
